To fulfil your enquiry or service delivery. We need your name and address to be able to despatch any service item(s) that you are purchasing. Your phone number is important so we can contact you if there is a problem with your enquiry. Your email address is needed to communicate with you so we can send your enquiry confirmation and / or updates on your service purchase(s).

How do we store information

We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary. Information about visitors who enquire from our website is stored with our webhost company who is My20i; this includes your contact information and details of the enquiry. Marketing

Calathea Therapy will never sell your data or personal information to a third party. We will never knowingly send you marketing information without your permission. Once you have contacted us through our website  you will be giving us permission to send you any marketing or service information.

You have the right at any time to stop our company from contacting you for marketing purposes.

Once you have agreed to marketing, if you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes you can opt out by clicking the bottom of our emails or simply contact us by email or phone.

Log Files

Calathea Therapy follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Data collected and usage for Therapy treatments

To full fill my obligations as a therapist and offer you the best service possible, I will need to obtain the following personal data information from you.

Name and age is basic information that helps me know you.

Address, email address and phone number will be used to contact you regarding your sessions. I will use the method you first contacted me on but if I cannot reach you, I will try a different way to contact you.

Email address and phone number are essential to be able to provide you with audio transformation recordings after your session.

Next of kin / medical professional’s details are only used if I was worried that you were at risk. I may need to contact your next of kin or medical professional in that instance, if I can. I will let you know when/if I am going to do this.

Will I share your data?

It is very unlikely that I will share your data. I will not sell it on or use it for unethical reasons. I may have to share it if my notes are subpoenaed by court. If you or anyone you tell me about is at harm or risk of harm, I may have to pass information on. I may also discuss your case during supervision, but I will only use your first name.

How will I store your session data notes?

It is mainly stored as hard copy in a locked filing cabinet. Immediately after the work is finished, I transfer the data with your initials to my password protected computer. Your phone number(s) may be kept in my mobile phone with your first name, last initial followed by RTT. Only I will have access to your information.

How long will I store your data?

I will keep your details and session notes for the time required by my insurer (currently 7 years).

After this time, I will destroy any document with your personal information and delete your phone number out of my mobile phone unless you continue to utilise my services after this time.
